You will find the vehicle identification number (VIN) of your Mercedes-Benz in your vehicle registration document (registration certificate part I). If you enter these in the search mask for wheels, we will only show you the items that fit your vehicle. If your vehicle is fitted with mixed tyres - i.e. different tyre sizes on the front and rear axles - there may be discrepancies in this VIN query. In this case, please contact us at +49 711 17 70000. Every car has a so-called “VIN”. VIN is the abbreviation for vehicle identification number. In the past, and still today it is popularly referred to as “chassis number”. The VIN has 17 digits and consists of three parts: It begins with the manufacturer code and the production country. WDD, for example, stands for Mercedes-Benz in Germany. The next part shows the model and model year as well as the engine and vehicle type. By using the VIN, accessories, spare parts and components, and of course wheels, can be allocated without doubt and with precision.

In order to find the right part for your vehicle, please contact our Service Centre mbgtc_parts@mercedes-benz.com or use our VIN search. We can then check which is the right part for your Mercedes-Benz by using the chassis number or VIN.

Are you looking for wheels, tyres or rims for your Mercedes-Benz or smart? With our VIN search you can find the right wheel combination. Here you will find suitable inch sizes for your model! Are you unsure? If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at +49 711 17 70000.
For example, your tyres have the tyre size 205/50R16 91V. “205” stands for the tyre width in millimetres, and “50” stands for the percentage height of the side flank in relation to the tyre tread. The “R” refers to the make of your tyre and means “radial”. Number “16” shows the inch size of the wheels on which the tyres are mounted. Number “91” reflects the load index - i.e. the maximum weight with which the tyre may be loaded. The last letter on the tyre “V” refers to the speed index.
We use the term complete part to describe a part that is equipped with electronics as an assembly part. The individual part is only delivered as a shell in primed colour. Complete parts are available almost exclusively at the Mercedes-Benz Used Parts Centre. By ordering a complete part at the MBGTC, you not only save money but also an enormous amount of time as you no longer have to assemble or paint your part. We offer complete parts for bonnets, bumpers or doors. For doors, for example, window regulators, interior locks, the trim, etc. are included.
The speed index on tyres indicates how fast you are allowed to drive with them. The speed index is indicated with the last letter of your tyre size. E.g. by the “V” 205/50R16 91 V.
The indication M+S on your tyres stands for mud and snow. Tyres with this label are suitable for winter use. For optimal winter suitability, also look for the “Snowflake on the Mountain” symbol on your winter tyres, which can be determined by a mountain range and a snowflake on the tyres.
A tyre pressure monitoring system helps the driver to avoid accidents and breakdowns by warning the driver when there is a loss of pressure in the tyre. All new vehicles have been equipped with this system since 2012.
The quality classes provide information about possible traces of usage, corrosion, scratches in the base material, discolouration due to brake abrasion as well as a guideline for the reconditioning effort. You will find all information here.
The hubcaps or wheel bolts are not included in the delivery of the wheels. Wheel caps can be ordered separately. You will find the range here.

For shipments to German islands and abroad, the shipping time is longer.

No, we do not buy parts, wheels, tyres or rims.
The DOT number of the tyres stands for “Department of Transportation”, i.e. the date of manufacture and the tyre age. The four-digit number is printed on the tyre sidewall. The code contains the production week and the production year. The DOT number is therefore an important criterion when buying used tyres and new tyres. Example: a tyre with DOT 1920 was produced in week 19 in 2020.
Heel and toe wear is a slanted wear of the tire's tread blocks. These are usually located on the outer sidewalls of a tyre. Heel and toe wear only has an effect on driving behaviour in very few cases. Heel and toe wear is often caused by incorrect air pressures in the tyres or by incorrect axle settings on the vehicle. However, this is neutralised again after a few kilometres when the tyre pressure is corrected.

At high speed on summer roads, winter tyres are exposed to much higher thermal stress than summer tyres. The tyre treads of the summer tyres are equipped with a heat-resistant tyre tread compound to cope with these extreme stresses.

If your vehicle is fitted with mixed tyres - i.e. different tyre sizes on the front and rear axle - please note that the hit list is not compatible with the VIN entry for certain combinations! This particularly applies to hybrid vehicles, the T-model, and AMG packages or Sportbrake vehicles. Please contact our customer service for advice.

All new vehicles have been equipped with this system since 2012. For more information on whether a TPMS sensor is installed in the respective item, please refer to the product description. To do this, click on “Specification”. Here you will find the indications TPMS sensor “yes” or “no”.
